About CrocoDent
CrocoDent is an independent platform operated by CrocoDent OOD. We connect adult patients in Plovdiv with verified dental students when their training needs, accepted cases, and clinic availability may align.
Who operates CrocoDent
CrocoDent OOD operates the platform. The team builds the technology, verifies student access through confirmed university email addresses, and maintains the privacy and safety rules. CrocoDent is not a dental clinic, does not employ the treating students, and is not an official representative of Medical University Plovdiv.
How student profiles are verified
A student account can be completed only after an email from an approved university domain is confirmed. The university shown in the profile must match that domain. This verifies access to a university mailbox. It does not verify a dental licence, certify clinical competence, or guarantee that a student can accept a particular patient.
- A confirmed university email from an approved domain.
- The profile shows only cases and contact channels the student explicitly enables.
- The student can stop appearing in patient results at any time.
- The clinical team, not CrocoDent, decides whether a case is suitable.
Teaching clinic setting
What qualified supervision means
Treatment does not take place at CrocoDent. It is arranged in the teaching clinic environment identified by the student and follows that clinical site's rules. A qualified instructor or dentist confirms case suitability, the treatment plan, and the steps the student may perform. Patients should confirm the location, supervisor, costs, and appointment directly before attending.
CrocoDent's role in four steps

The patient states whether a licensed dentist has confirmed a diagnosis. Without a diagnosis, the patient selects current complaints only.

A private session compares the confirmed condition or complaints and clinic availability with active student profile settings.
- 03
The patient chooses whether to reveal a contact channel the student enabled after a protective verification step.
- 04
The student and qualified clinical team discuss suitability, examination, treatment plan, costs, and appointment outside CrocoDent.

CrocoDent's Bulgarian guides are prepared by an editorial team of medical and dental students. The team cites sources, records the last editorial review date, and includes clear escalation advice for urgent symptoms. This process does not turn the content into individual medical advice.
