No. If a licensed dentist has diagnosed your current condition, select only what they confirmed. If not, select your complaints and CrocoDent will find students accepting them. CrocoDent does not diagnose or recommend treatment.
Students use CrocoDent for cases that are carried out under qualified clinical supervision. Before attending, patients should independently confirm the clinic, the supervisor, the treatment plan, and the appointment details.
CrocoDent asks you to complete a quick verification step before any of the student's visible contact methods are shown. You can then contact the student directly to discuss possible clinic appointment options.
Student registration is open to dental and medical students using an approved university email domain. Dental students are responsible for keeping patient-facing profiles accurate and accepting only suitable supervised cases.
CAPTCHA protects student contact details from automated scraping. It is used only at the moment a user requests to view contact information.
Patients can complete the survey and browse matching profiles without paying CrocoDent. Any clinic fees, eligibility rules, or appointment details are handled outside the platform.
In the vast majority of cases, treatment costs are covered by the student as part of their supervised clinical training — patients typically pay nothing. In rare instances, there may be a charge for certain treatments or diagnostic procedures, such as X-rays or specialist materials. Where costs do apply, they are generally modest, averaging around €15, though in uncommon circumstances they could be higher. Any potential costs should always be confirmed directly with the student before your appointment.
