CrocoDent editorial policy

CrocoDent's editorial team includes medical and dental students. Authorship is presented as a team because articles follow a shared research, editing, and review process. CrocoDent does not present the editorial team as a dental practice or claim that an unnamed dentist reviewed an article.

• We look for primary and official sources, including the Bulgarian NHIF, universities, and recognised health institutions.
• We distinguish general information from a clinical diagnosis, treatment plan, or promised outcome.
• We state the limits of student treatment, possible costs, and the absence of guaranteed matching.
• We include clear guidance for symptoms that require direct or urgent qualified care.
• We avoid unsupported comparisons, absolute claims, and undisclosed promotion.

Each article includes a publication date in structured data and a visible last editorial review date. When official rules, NHIF prices, platform operation, or material health information changes, the article is reviewed and the date is updated. Sources remain visible so readers can check the context.

When we identify a material error, we correct the text and update the review date. To report an issue, provide another source, or request a correction, email support@crocodent.org with the page address and the specific claim.

Editorial content is informational. We do not publish paid clinic rankings or hidden recommendations. Links to the patient questionnaire and CrocoDent services are clearly identified and do not determine the conclusions in health sections.

CrocoDent does not diagnose, select treatment, or replace an examination. Severe or rapidly worsening pain, major swelling, fever, trauma, or difficulty breathing or swallowing requires direct qualified care. Call 112 when there is immediate danger.
